I was a friend of Odie's when he was at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church.
I was in my 30's with two small children. We exchanged phone numbers and we talked almost daily. That was in the 90's when he lived in Hyde Park. Odie had a wealth of wisdom. He readily shared his thoughts and remarkable recollections of history with me. My mother made her transition in August of 1992 at 56 years of age. Odie was there to support and comfort me. Odie was a sharp dresser and just a cool guy. I will always love you Odie Webb. I will NEVER forget you. Until we meet again, Love you!!

Please accept my condolences for your recent loss. Jehovah God has a loving purpose for humans..That is why Jesus taught us to pray: "Our Father in the heaven, let ....your Kingdom come. Let your will Take place, as in heaven, also on earth.{Matthew 6:9,10)God cares so deeply about us that he has gone to great lengths to make the fulfillment of his purpose a certainty.---john3:16---james 1:13;and 1peter5:6,7.When that Kingdom comes to earth, we will see all of our loved ones again.

To the family of Odis Webb, please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Losing a loved one is very difficult. Rely on family, friends, and especially God. May God comfort your family during this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3 and 4.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear love one. May Jehovah the God of tender mercy and comfort strengthen you during this time of sorrow - 2 Corinthians 1:3, it is his promise that you will see your love one again, John 5:28, 29.
