Life’s Reflections

Lloyd Moye (Euttie) was born in Chicot County, Arkansas on March 15, 1948 to Mr. Joe Moye and Mrs. Lula (Cousand) Moye.  He attended school in Dumas, Arkansas until the 9th grade.  Lloyd played football for and graduated from Townsend Park High School after moving to Pine Bluff, Ark. where he met and married the love of his life Erma (Taylor) Moye.

Lloyd moved to Kansas City, Ks in 1971 and worked for Breddo Foods for ten plus years as a truck driver. After leaving Breddo he started his own trucking company (ELM Trucking Company) where he transported goods across the country including Canada and Mexico.  He had to retire when he became sick and had to do dialysis for the last 17 years.

After retirement Lloyd loved to sit in McDonald’s every morning for his Sausage McMuffin with honey and senior coffee and talk about his trucking and traveling.  He enjoyed watching Cowboy flicks and football.
