Gregory (Buddy) Lawrence Jackson 59 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Friday September 5, 2014 in Kansas City, Kansas. Bubby was born October 13, 1954 to Arthur F. and Daisy M. Jackson.

Buddy was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas School District and graduated in 1972.  After High School he enlisted in the U S Army.  Buddy worked 26 years for subcontractors.  After that he worked for ReCare retiring in 2003.

Buddy was an avid bowler, Royals fan, artist, music lover and the biggest teller of jokes!

When you saw him he always had a big smile on his face.  Above all Buddy LOVED the Lord.  He would call his family and pray for them and with them, he would also pray for anyone that would allow him to.  He was a frequent visitor to Providence Medical Center, if not as a patient, he would go there to the Chapel to pray. He always would end his conversation with “God Bless You”

Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur F. and Daisy M. Jackson; his brother, Ronald L. Burdeen who passed in February of this year.

He is survived by six brothers, Hanif Khalil (Najah) of Kansas City, Kansas; Arthur L. Jackson (Shirley) of Chicago, Illinois; Carl A. Jackson (Beverly) of Las Vegas, Nevada; Ronald, Donald and Carmen King of Kansas City, Kansas; two sisters, Patricia Wright of League City, Texas; and Susan Jackson of Kansas City, Kansas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
