Arthur Elmer Easterwood

Life’s Reflection

Arthur was born on May 9, 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas to Leo and Wylma Frances (Balance) Easterwood.  Arthur grew up in Kansas City, Kansas where he graduated from Sumner High School in Kansas City, Kansas in the class of 1961.  After high school he joined the U. S. Navy in the 1962 and served for four years and received an Honorable Discharge in 1966. After the service Arthur worked for Southwestern Bell as an installer for three years.   Then he attended an area Trade School to become a Master Plumber, and was a plumber for over forty plus years. 

He married Eulonda Phillips in 1996 in the state of Arkansas.  Arthur enjoy reading, and spending time with his family.

Arthur Elmer Easterwood, Sr. at the age of 72, passed away April 27, 2016 at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; one daughter; and two sons.

He is survived by his twenty two children; and host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; relatives and friends.

What was good, and what was ill, what would save life,

and what would kill,  Thus gone, amongst you I may live.

And dead, yet speak and counsel give.

Farewell my birds, Farewell, Adieu,

I am happy, If well with you.
