I'm sorry very sorry for your loss, having recently suffered loss myself, I can relate to your grief. Leona always treated me with kindness, she will be missed greatly by many. May it bring you comfort to know Leona is no longer in pain, she is now in Heaven with our Lord. I'm sure she is singing with choir of angels in heaven and keeping watch over us all. Kepping everyone in my thoughts and prayers

I wait silently for God, because my hope comes from Him. He is my rock and my salvation, my secure refuge; I will never be shaken. Trust in Him at all times, pour out your hearts before Him because God is greater than our hearts and knows all things.

Living on 6th street seems like a lifetime ago. I can still see our mothers sitting on our front stoop laughing and talking and telling us to stay out of grown folks conversations. Losing a mother is hard I know. Just know that one day it won't be so hard. Stand firm in the promise that one day we will all meet again on the other side. But until then know that the suffering is gone and the cares of this world are no longer a concern. Your mother was able to see all her work was not in vain. How proud she was of all her children and how well they turned out. Only death separates you now but the love will remain. Godspeed to you all. Love always your sister and your friend Von
