Life’s Reflection

Willie Calvin Scott 69, pass away December 3, 2017 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

He was born June 2, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to Elmer and Hattie Spence Scott.  Willie grew up in the Kansas City, Kansas, and graduated from Sumner High School in the class of 1966. 

He began to work for The Union Pacific Railroad as a Trackman. Willie retired from the Railroad after forty years of loyal service in 2008.

Willie married Clara Mae McNickles in 1972 in Kansas City, Kansas, they were happily married for forty-five years.

He was preceded in death his parents, Elmer and Hattie Scott; two brothers, Jimmy Scott; and Frank Scott; three sisters, Regina Scott; Shirline Scott Harris; and Brenda Scott Leak.

Left to cherish his loving memory his wife, Clara Mae Scott; two sons, Spencer Nickles, Sr.; and Terrance Scott (Carla); one daughter, Tanya Nickles (Yul, Sr.) all of Kansas City, Kansas; ten grandchildren, Brijane Nickles; El’Dawan Anthony; Shakeila Ingram; Daleshawn Ingram; Spencer Nickles, Jr.; Cambrie’ Agee; Darrell Sanders; Darrelwanda Sanders; Terriana Martin; and Raemon Harvey; six great grandchildren, Z’ya; Adonis; Ken’Travion; Aaliyah; El’Dawan, Jr.; and Xaviera; two brothers, Elmer Scott; and Theodore Scott both of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Teresa Scott of Kansas City, Kansas; a host of other relatives and friends.
