I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Matthew. Losing a loved one in death is such a difficult thing to cope with. Especially at such a young age. My heart goes out to the family and friends during this time. Cherish the good memories. Please find comfort in knowing that God views death as an "enemy" and will act to end it forever (1 Cor 15:26). God's Word also promises a time in the future where we can all have a hope of seeing our dead loved ones again (John 5:28,29). Take care.

To the family during this difficult time, please accept your condolences for the loss of your loved one. As the days and weeks pass and as you return to life’s routine, may you be comforted by your memories and the support of family.
There is hope for our loved ones lost in death, God promises a resurrection and those who are lost in death will be restored to life and reunite with their loved ones.

I worked with Matthew at NKCH. He was a great therapist, with a huge heart, that helped so many!! He truly had a servants heart. His RT family admired his infectious smile and gentle spirit. Matthew was especially kind and respectful towards my Mom at Lakeview Village. He was someone you would remember because of his smile, gentleness and willingness to help her in her most vulnerable state. I am deeply sorry for this great loss of your son and brother. Josh and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of knowing and working with Matthew at KU and he was so kind, and yes, he had an infectious smile. I know there are no words that can take away your pain, but please know you are in the hearts, thoughts, and prayers of so many people, including me. I pray that God wraps His Loving Arms around all of you and surrounds you with His Love and Grace.

I am the oldest daughter of Sister Marva Saunders, former member. Watching Matthew, his mother, and siblings man the Junior Usher Board was always a delight for me to see, you all serving so well. During this time family find comfort in the Lord. We don't know why Matthew had to to leave us at such an early age, but rest assured that God knows.
