When I was young boy in KCK--back in the 1970's, my father took me to her place on the corner of Quindaro Blvd across from the public swimming pool in Parkwood Park for a Newmans cheeseburger. Hands, down, one of the best cheeseburger I've ever tasted in my life. As grown man today, I will never forget the love and skill that Ms. Mrs. Newman put into making that cheeseburger.

Mrs. Newman I will never forget you and your store and those amazing Hamburgers.
Thank you so much.

God Bless.

To my classmate Rodney Newman and the rest of the family. I can't find the words to express my feelings about the passing of Mrs. Newman. I send my sincere condolences to all of you and I pray that God will give you all the strength you require as you prepare to lay Mrs. Newman to rest. She was a mother to all who entered the door and always offered that ear to everyone that came in to get those famous Newman Burgers. She had a beautiful spirit about her and she will truly be missed and thought of often in a good and happy way. May God continue to Bless and Keep you all. May you Rest In Peace Mrs. Newman.
