She was a very special lady to me. Always smiling and supporting the Cause of her belief. I first met her at the Kansas city NFDW and will never forget that kindness and love given me. Later we meet again when we both were Trustees of our respective community college. We loved seeing each other twice a year. My last conversation with her last year by phone was a popcorn call to her to let her know what has been going on. I missed her. Sleep on my sister. I will meet you again when We See Jesus!

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance.
They awaken us to a new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom.
Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon.
They stay in our lives for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.
Flavia

Dear Family of MaryAnn,
Although I only knew your loved one for four short years, I know sorrow and I am grateful. May you find comfort in knowing the blessing given to so many who knew her.

To the family of Mrs. MARY ANN FLUNDER.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God
Mary Ann made everyone feel like they had a special relationship with her, I know I felt as if I had a special relationship with her. When my mother went home to be with the LORD (2004), she came immediately and took my hand like a big sister, Mary Ann never did let go of me and I never did let go of her, until now… However, I think sometimes I hear her calling my name “THOMAS!” during my quiet times, when I think about her. I just can’t put all my memories of Mary Ann on paper it’s too many. When I think I’m done, more come about. I suppose she will always be with me spiritually. Know that GOD is in control… Romans 8: 28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose
SHE INSPIRED ME TO DO SO MUCH MORE
THANK YOU MARY ANN!

We wanted to share our condolences with Mary’s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

My sympathy goes out to Mary Ann's family. She had a great vision for looking out for the senior citizens of Kansas. When Mary Ann talked.....people listened. She has always shown great energy and never tired of sharing her concerns about the older Kansans in need of help. Mary Ann will be missed but she has already assumed a new role in heaven and we will all see her again some day. Good bye my friend. You will be missed.
