God be with the entire family when you need him most. I was a classmate of Sandra Maddox and very sorry to hear of your loss. She had a long, happy life but that is something we all must do. May God give you all strength through this difficult time. Much peace through the many memories. God Bless!

Dearest Carolyn,
We, your Sumner High School Classmates of 1967, are sadden to learn about your Mom's (Mrs. Lillian Shannon) home going on Friday, March 24, 2017. Please accept our prayers, condolence, and words of encouragement. On a personal note, I (Brenda) had the opportunity to know your Mom given we lived in the projects together. She will be sincerely missed. At the age of 102, another Sumner Spartan gone home! What a blessing she was and is in the hearts of those who knew her.

Mother Shannon was a beautiful lady and a leaves a strong legacy. Hold onto your faith and God's unchanging hands. He will get you through this difficult time. You and the rest of your family are in my continued prayers.
