It was with a saddened surprise that I learned of the death of your mother and my "babysitter" when I was five (5) years old. I know that it is always a terrible shock when someone so close to you passes away. She was very special to me, and I will always remember her fondly. Her warmhearted understanding ways and that beautiful smile is was kept us close friends for more than 45 years. Lewanna was loved and respected by many. We both felt so lucky to have known her and will continue to cherish all the fun memories we shared.
