In loving memory of Kemba Tiombe White, born to Roger Lee White, Sr. and Phyllis Lanelle Johnson Criss on April 19, 1973, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Kemba attended school in the Kansas City, Kansas School District, but graduated from Dewey High School in Oakland, California. Kemba also received Language Certificates in French, German, and Spanish. Kemba attended Sander Beauty School in Kansas City, Kansas. Kemba had a passion for culinary, hair styling, and playing the clarinet, piano, and singing.
For numerous years Kemba worked for Farmers Insurance Company as a Coder.
At an early age Kemba accepted Christ, uniting with Saint Andrew Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Berlin R. Williams. Later she became a member of New Grace Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceding Kemba in death her paternal grandparents, Charles and Betty White; her maternal grandparent, Martha Alice McDowell; stepfather, Willie Lee Criss.
She leaves to mourn her daughter, Kiara Watson; two sons, Louis Dixon and Ronald Hodges, Jr.; grandchildren, Alaisia Dyson and Xavier Dixon of Kansas City, Kansas; father, Reverend Roger Lee White, Sr. (Adina) of Phoenix, Arizona; mother, Phyllis Lanelle Johnson Criss of Kansas City, Kansas; sister, Michal White; brother, Roger Lee White, Jr. of Phoenix Arizona; stepsister, Queen Union of Kansas City, Kansas; a special aunt, Deborah McCain Hick of Kansas City, Kansas; a special friend, Ronald Hodges, Sr. of Kansas City, Kansas; she also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; she leave to mourn her life a special cousins Tonnette Anderson and Sharina Johnson; her mother gives a special thanks to Nicole Fountain; Vonya Cummingham; and Alaisia Dyson who was there throughout Kemba sickness.
