Mr. Jackie R. Brown, better known as “JACK” was the eighth child born to Pinkerton and Roberta Brown in Forman, Arkansas on December 3, 1950— shortly after his birth the family relocated to Argentine, Kansas.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Otis brown, Robert Brown ad Horace”Chuck” Brown.
Jack made his profession of faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Second Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Roy A. Reed.
Jack attended Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1968. Jack attended the Kansas City, Kansas Community College, then was drafted into the United States Army in which he served in the Vietnam War until his Honorable Medical Discharge.
He leaves to cherish his memory (1) son, Derrick Hart of Phoenix, Arizona; (3) brothers, Morris Brown (Sharon); James Brown of Reno, NV; Donald Brown (Michelle) Las Vegas, NV; (2) sisters; Onie Jean DeBose (Vernon) of Shawnee, KS, and Wanda Adams (Nathaniel); (3) grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
