You always had the brightest smile. As a kid hanging around 7th St back in the day, it was always a joy to see you coming towards us with that big, beautiful smile. Idora, you always brought joy to me; as if you could look inside my soul and feel what I was feeling. So comforting to be around. I'm so happy I had a chance to visit you each time I returned to KC. Thank you for all the good times and warm moments spent at your house with old friends and family.

Auntie Idora your smile, your laughter, your humor and loyalty will be missed. Thank you for all that you did for everyone and for always checking on my grandmother (your other mother) as I know you both are in heaven having a great time! Even though you are gone in flesh, your spirit will always be present.

I have lovely memories of Idora--a kind and loving spirit. We worked together at Hy's Market on 7th Street many years ago.
