My deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Patton. I was one of the many Quindaro Elementary students in the 80's and 90's era that was deeply touched by Mrs. Patton's loving kindness. We lived in the same neighborhood so it was not uncommon to see Mrs. Patton with her walking stick getting her daily exercise and she always remembered me and called me by name in our catch up conversations. As a child she recognized my love for dance and gifted my family and I tickets to see the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre which opened my world to performing arts. As a teen she took me under her wing to show me how to make jellies, do canning and quilt which I have passed on to my children. Although she may be gone she will never be forgotten. Her legacy will live by her many gifts and talents that she so openly shared with others that were willing to listen and come along side her. I am most appreciative for the time she spent with me and will hide our good times in my heart forever more.

To the family and friends of Georgia Patton, I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. When ever we lose such a caring and loving person, it is the hardest experience that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. During this extremely difficult time, please turn to God for comfort and support. He promise to give your family the strength needed in order to endure this great lost. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Something else that can bring your family comfort is cherishing the wonderful memories that you have of Mrs. Georgia. These precious memories will console the family in the day's ahead.
