The Life and Legacy of William Frederick Lowe, Sr.
William Frederick Lowe, Sr. was born December 4, 1950 to Geraldine Clemoens and the late William Lowe.
He was a graduate of Southeast High School class of 1969. He was drafter on June 22, 1970 into the United States Army and served in the 142nd Military Police Company in Pusan-Taegu, Korea. He was honorably discharged January 11, 1972. He worked at United Parcel Service, where he retired after 33 years of service.
In August 1973, he married Yolonda Hervey. Five years later they were blessed with twins, Wilonda F., and William F. Lowe Jr.
William was preceded in death by his father, William Lowe, his great grandparents, George, and Nellie Geraldine Clemoens, his sister, Zonna M. Lampkin, his mother Geraldine Neal, and his brother, Alfred Burton Jr.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Yolonda R. Lowe; daughter, Wilonda F. Lowe both of Kansas City, Kansas; son, William F. Lowe, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri; honorary son, Donte L. (Rayven) Bell of Overland Park, Kansas; two sisters, Tonyia R. (Harold) McCrimmon of Corona, California; and E. Patrice (Clarence) Johnson of Pomona, CA. He also leaves two special friends, Rita Anderson, and Gary Lewis, from United Parcel Service.
