WILLIE WASH

Willie Wash, 84, passed away on May 6, 2024, at His residence at Advena Living of Bonner Springs. He was born on April 12, 1940, in Tchula, Mississippi to Lonnie Wash and Annie C Love. 

Willie grew up in Tchula, MS before moving to Kansas City where he began work for Atagi Construction as a construction worker and at Wilson Packing House providing for him and his family for many years. 

Willie married Sylvia Allen in 1967 in Kansas City, Kansas. They were happily married for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting,  fishing, and listening to the blues at the pool hall. 

Willie was preceded in death by his Mother Annie C, Father  Lonnie, his siblings Earl, Artis T, Roosevelt, Henry Sr., Ezell, Kato, Myrtis, Bettie Mae, Lonnie Ray, and his daughter Sherri. 

Willie is survived by his grandson and his nieces and nephews and friends.
