FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR TYRELL DA’WAYNE LAMAR
SUNRISE: NOVEMBER 28, 2001 - SUNSET: SEPTEMBER 10, 2025
Tyrell Da’Wayne Lamar was born on November 28, 2001, in Kansas City, KS, to his loving parents, Sharifa Lamar and Tylon Hall.
Tyrell grew up in Kansas City, KS, and graduated from Northwest Regional Youth Center in Kansas City, MO, in 2020. He was the third oldest of nine siblings. He had five brothers— Tyren Lamar, Tyree Hall, Anthony Hourston, Faybeon Lamar, and Chester Mitchell IV—and three sisters—Ta’Ronika Boone, Sherlyn Hourston, and Ja’Raiya Jones—who all loved him deeply.
Tyrell left us on September 10, 2025. He was a bright, lovable, and caring person— someone everyone truly loved. He was full of life and had incredible potential. Tyrell had a passion for helping people, exploring new places, and expressing himself through fashion. He had dreams of launching his own clothing label, which he planned to name LRD.
Tyrell was so loved. He was an uncle, a brother, a son, a friend—and no matter where he was, he was always there to help. He had three nieces and two nephews whom he adored. He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Gwen Nash, and grandfather, Lonzo Howard; and his paternal grandfather, Ezell Hall, and grandmother, Willamae Kendall. Tyrell was cherished by so many, and it’s important that no one who loved him goes unrecognized. He had a host of aunties, great-aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forever. We will never forget you son—you’re forever in our hearts.
