Life’s Reflection
Ruth was born June 26, 1928, in Conway Arkansas to Lonnie and Louella (Madlock) Ester. Ruth grew up in Conway, Arkansas and later moved to Kansas City in 1951. She married Joe Nathan George at the age of 19 to this union one child was born Joe Norman George. She became employed at B & G Maintenance where she worked until she retired in 1995. She enjoyed traveling, her grandchildren, great grand, and great-great grands. She loved her church Greater Jerusalem Baptist Church. She loved to help others. She deeply loved her family, and she will be missed greatly by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie, and Louella Ester; three sisters, Lavada; Laurine; and Aretha; and granddaughter, Gail Horton.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her only child Joe Norman George Sr.; grandchildren, Joe N. George Jr.; Traci D. George; Glenda Horton; and Gloria Horton; 12 great grands; and 7 great-great grands; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
