Rosa Davis

Rosa Davis, 87, passed away on June 25, 2023, at her home in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was born on January 17, 1936, in Kansas City, Kansas to Willie Walker and Florence Jones.

Rosa grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Sumner Academy in 1954. Rosa began work for Federal Government as a clerk typist where she worked for a few years. She eventually went to work for NOAA where she retired in 2022 after 51 years.

Rosa married Turner Davis in 1971 in Inglewood, CA. They were happily married for 49 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband Turner Davis; her two step-sons, Kevin Davis, and Ronald Jones; her three sisters, Marguerite, Florence, and Laura May; her three brothers, Ben, Bert, and Chester.

Rosa is survived by two stepdaughters, Angela Hall of Las Vegas, NV; Denise Littlejohn of Kansas City, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
