Life's Reflection
Robert L. Williams Jr., 75 passed away on January 31, 2023, at Specialty Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas.
Robert was born July 8, 1947, in Marion, Louisiana to Robert and Jannie Wayne Williams. He grew up in Marion, Louisiana. Robert graduated from State High School in Marion, LA in 1965. After High School he attended Grambling State University in Grambling, LA where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After receiving his bachelor’s degree Robert later moved to Kansas City, KS where he began working for Copeland Steel Corp. as a steel worker where he worked for many years until his health started failing.
Robert accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon, sung in the male choir and was an active Sunday school member until he became ill.
Robert married Ann Adams in 1975 in Kansas City, Kansas. They were happily married for 48 years. Robert was loved by everyone that knew him. Robert enjoyed playing and watching baseball, bowling, and fishing.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Jannie Mae Williams and Robert L. Williams Sr.; a daughter Marquetta Renae Williams; his brother Joe Clyde; and his sisters Maxine, Bobbie Jean, and Dossie Mae.
Robert leaves to cherish his precious memory beautiful wife Ann Williams; his daughters Stacey Williams, Michel Williams, Adrain Williams and Latrice Moore; his son Tyrone Adams; Three sisters, Georgia Brown (Alonzo), Brenda Williams and Janice Williams; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host relatives and friends.
