Reuben Alexander Howell was born August 6, 1959, in Kansas City, Kansas and was preceded in death by parents, Joe Reuben Howell; and Vivian Marie Morgan; three sisters, Rometta Howell; Leona Hall; and Phyllis Suttington; two brothers, Joe W. Howell; and Elbert Brice.

Reuben accepted Christ at a young age at Christ Church of The Jesus Hour affiliated then by Rev. Russell Davis and was baptized.

He was united in marriage to Mazine Paulette Jones August 6, 2020.

Reuben work for Bethany Hospital while in school.  He joined the United States Army July 1, 1979, thru February 5, 1990.  While in the service he traveled to Germany, San Francisco, Los Angeles California , and a variety of states and counties.

Reuben worked for The University of Kansas Health System at the Switch Board for 28 years where he retired.  And then went back to The University of Kansas Health System to join the Transportation Team as a Dispatcher.  Where most of the employee called him Uncle, or the Glue that held everything together.

The Lord Called Reuben home on July 7, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mazine Paulette Howell of the home; his children, Briana N. Howell (Robert); Justin R. Howell, two sisters, Othella Morgan of Kansas City, Missouri; Etta Thomas (Donald) of Kansas City, Missouri; sister-in-law, Vergie L. Howell of Kansas City, Kansas; three brothers, Wayman Howell (LaFawn) of St. Louis, Missouri; Michael Howell (Sadarion) of Texas; and Kit Howell (Angie) of Kansas City, Kansas; six grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, friends, and God children.
