Quincelia V Conway, 82, passed away on November 25, 2023 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She was born on May 22,1941 in Kansas City, KS to Levi and Helen (Scales) Huggins.
Quincelia grew up in Kansas City, KS. She was a member of Eighth Street Baptist Church with her family. She graduated from Sumner High School in Kansas City, KS in 1959. After high school she began work for AT&T until she retired as a Data Entry Specialist where she worked for many years. She also immersed herself in cosmetology during her free time.
Celia loved music and even had a piano and organ in her home. She spent her retirement years crocheting and going to art fairs around Kansas City, KS selling the things she made.
Quincelia was preceded in death by her Parents, Levi and Helen Huggins; siblings, Jacqueline “Jackie” Briggs, Lester “Bubba” Huggins, Howard Huggins and Gwendolyn Richards; Son, Jeffery Woodard.
Quincelia is survived by her children Darryl (Jamie) Huggins of Garland, TX; Billy Conway (Marrina) of Kansas City, KS; Siblings Farrell Huggins of Kansas City, KS; Venita Huggins of Kansas City, KS and Lee Huggins of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Quaide Conway, Cornelius Conway, Krystian Conway and Shaquintaye Woodard; great-grandchildren Trinity Conway, Quincy Conway, Quhelani Conway; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
