Orlando Gatlin

Orlando “Bo” Gatlin passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 12:47 am at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK.

Orlando was born in Kansas City, Kansas on May 25th, 1973, to the parents of Alonzo Gatlin and Barbara Johnson at Providence Medical Center. He attended Bryant Elementary, Coronado Middle School and Washington High School.

Orlando held down various jobs in Kansas City, Kansas. He relocated to Tulsa, OK in 2013. Orlando, also known as “Bo” was a very humorous person, he loved to joke around and eat, he was a stylish dresser and loved to dance. Orlando will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Orlando was preceded in death by his father Alonzo Gatlin; his paternal grandparents Duson and Duette Gatlin; his maternal grandparents Amos & Willie B. Anderson; his uncles and aunts Kenneth Anderson (Frankie), Diane and Edward “Sonny” Carvin, Amos Anderson Jr. (Betty), Theodore Gatlin and Deborah Anderson.

Orlando leaves to mourn his memory his parents John and Barbara Johnson; son, Da Vonte Wilson; one grandchild; his brother, Michael A. Gatlin (Danielle); his sisters, Lisa Haire (William), Janae Johnson; Aunts, Pamela Jackson (Gregory), Diann Reed, Thelma Edwards (CW), Susan Johnson Riley (AL); His uncles, Dwight Anderson, Wayne Johnson (Teresa); nephews, Maquille Gatlin, Nathan Taylor (Precious); niece, Helena Revels (Aaron); two great-nephews; one great niece; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
