OPHELIA MARIE FOSTER

Ophelia Marie Foster (nee Graham), affectionately known as Mie, passed away on September 12, 2024, at the age of 67, in Shawnee, Kansas. She was born on July 31, 1957, in Sawyer, Oklahoma.

Mie dedicated many years to caring for others as a Nursing Assistant, a role she performed with compassion and dedication until her health no longer allowed her to continue.

Arrangements are under the care of Thatcher’s Funeral Home on 9/19/24, located at 1520 N. 5th St, Kansas City, Kansas. Mie’s kindness and selfless spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

 She was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie Hare, and father, Alix Hare, daughter Bobbie Joe, and brother Kenneth and Charles Hare of Hugo.

Ophelia leaves to cherish her memories her son Dale Graham; her daughter Lisa Graham; her granddaughter Delisa Robinson; her grandson Robert of Shawnee, Kansas; her four grandchildren; her three sisters Gloria Hare of Hugo, OK, Clara Hare of Idabel, OK, and Ella Gardner of Platte City, MO; and one brother Cecil Hare of Hugo, OK.
