Nita Faye Johnson (affectionately called “Granma”) was born on June 22, 1946 to Sylvester Robinson Sr. and Clara Robinson in Wardell Missouri
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Clara Robinson; her brother, James W Robinson; her sisters, Barbara J. Nelson and Shirley A. Brooks; grandsons, Terrence L. Johnson and D’Marco Robinson.
Neta grew u in Hayti, Missouri where she met and married James L. Johnson and through this union five children were born. Nita loved spending time with family cooking, playing Pac-Mand and working in her puzzle books, and listening to her favorite gospel singer “Lee Williams”.
Nita worked at Villa St. Francis for 20 years, where she retired from in 2007 as a CNA. Nita was a beautiful person inside and out. Her love uplifted everyone around her. Nita accepted Christ at an early age. After moving to Kansas City, Kansas she joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C L Backus, where she was a faithful member until her health failed.
She leaves to Cherish her memory her five sons, Richard D. Robinson; Sharm E. Johnson (Lesa); Michael A. Robinson; Larry W. Johnson and Jerry D. Johnson; two daughters, Pamela R. Johnson and Denesha Jones; a special friend, Harold Goff; four brothers, Sylvester Robinson; Bobby R. Robinson; Billy D. Robinson and Kenneth W. Robinson; two sisters, Mary Coleman and Geraldine Williams; thirty-three grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephew, family and friends.
