Nettie Bee Pittman-Jackson was born on April 28, 1927, in McGehee, Arkansas (Bayou Bartholomew) to the late Jimmy Pittman and Emma Slater-Platt.
Nettie Bee is preceded in death by her late husband, Clifton Jackson, Sr.; eight sisters, Christella Rancifer; Verline McClain Hattie Bee Johnson; Margaret Platt; Thelma Lee West; Pearlie Belle Manning; Vearlie Belle Dixon; Ruby Platt; Johnnie Mae Blackmon; and brother, Howard Platt.
Nettie received her education in McGehee, Arkansas. Nettie Bee was a stay-at-home Mother and devoted wife to her loving late husband, Clifton Jackson Sr. of 33 years til his untimely death, during that marriage they were blessed with three children, two daughters, Emma Jean Jackson-Wilson; Martha Jackson-Jones; and one son, Clifton Jackson II.
Nettie Bee confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and united with Isaac Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and later united with Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dermott, Arkansas where she became a Mother of the Church under the leadership of Reverend Ricky Lattimore Sr...
Nettie Bee was a lovely woman. She embodied all the attributes of a perfect mother and grandmother. She was caring, thoughtful, compassionate, loving and so much more.
Nettie Bee loved cooking, baking, and canning, she also loved fishing, and gardening. Nettie Bee loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Nettie Bee the bond she developed over the years with her nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed the special times, and conversations she had with her sisters, and the special bond she developed with Sister Girl (Billie Ray Neal) her last surviving sister.
The Lord called Mother Nettie Bee Pittman-Jackson home on November 27, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Emma Jean Wilson; Martha Jones (Lee Rogers) both of Kansas City, Kansas; one son, Clifton Jackson II (Wanda) of Monticello, Arkansas; one sister, Billie Ray Neal of Suffolk, Virginia; six grandchildren, Erica Morris; Clifton Jackson III; Lees Roger Jones III; Ryan Jones; Shannon Jackson; and Kelsea Jackson; seven great grandchildren; a special niece Janet Platt-Braswell; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousin, extended church, and spiritual families, as well, a host of close friends and loved one.
