Nancy Jo Johnson

Nancy Jo Johnson, 76 passed away on January 18, 2025, at her home in Kansas City, Mo. She was born on July 22, 1948, in Coffeyville, KS to Benny Pringle and Mary E. Smith. Nancy grew up in Coffeyville KS where she graduated from Kindley Memorial High School. Once she graduated, she moved around to a few different cities before landing in Kansas City, KS.

She began her career at Procter & Gamble in the late 1970s. Once she retired, she started her journey in the medical field doing Home Healthcare and was doing that for the past few years. She enjoyed cooking for her family (and the food was good!) She also loved to go shopping, loved wear her jewelry, and going out to eat with family & friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her Sister Joyce Hart, her daughter Tonya Callands, and her grandson Stephen Elias.

Left to continue her legacy is her sons Herman Callands Jr. (Stacy), and Albert Johnson Jr., her grandchildren Shanta White, Carl White III, Willis Wesley, Marcus Callands, Marlisha Callands, Jordon Wilson, Hailey Callands, Maliya Johnson,  Aryn Johnson, Ja’Ziyah Johnson, and Emori Wells, her great grandchildren Gerald G Singh III, Sydnee Benson, and Symone Benson and 13 more, her great-great granddaughter Gia Singh, her nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
