Mildred Winston Obituary

Mildred Bell Winston began her life's journey, on June 15, 1927, in Kansas City, Kansas as the daughter of Evans and Alice Green Bell. She was called home by her heavenly father on October 9, 2023, at the Riverbend Post-Acute Facility in KCK.

Her parents, two brothers, one sister, son, and daughter preceded her in death.

Mildred and Robert D. Mosely were married and had 2 children, Robbie Denise and Milton Mosley. Robert D Mosley preceded her in death. She later married John Winston and his one daughter became hers. Her husband, John Winston passed away in April 2014. Mildred graduated from Sumner High School in 1946. She was an active member of the Class of 1946. She was a 70+ year member of the Olivet Institutional Baptist Church and served in many capacities. She retired from AT&T after 30+ years of service as a Billing Clerk.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Sister, Mary Watson; stepdaughter, Izetta Harris of Lansing, Michigan; granddaughter, Stephanie Garrett; grandson, Jaison Jones; two grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and other relatives and friends.
