Mary Ailene Elizabeth (Blount) Wilson

Life Reflections

Mary Ailene Elizabeth Wilson, 65, passed away on March 24, 2022, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City Kansas.  She was born on July 17, 1956, in Kansas City Kansas to Warzell and Dorothy Sandlin Blount.

Mary grew up in Kansas City, Kansas.  She graduated from Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, Kansas in 1974.  After high school she attended College at Saint Mary College in Leavenworth, Kansas where she received a BA degree in Social Work.  She began to work for Social and Rehabilitation services as a social worker where she worked for 30 years.  She retired in 2010.

Mary married L.T. Wilson Sr. in 1977 in Kansas City, Kansas. They were happily married for 30 years.  Mary was a member Mt. Carmel C.O.G.I.C.  She enjoyed singing, watching movies, swimming, and Game of Thrones. 

Mary was preceded in death by both parents; Joyce Ann Danna; Equilla Blount; Julia Lee Blount; Margaret Evelyn Blount; Warzell Blount; Linda J Craig; and Christine Blount-McGuire.

Mary is survived by her son L.T. Wilson Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas; her brothers, Cecil D, Blount of Munich; Glen Blount of Kansas City; Kenneth Blount of Kansas City Kansas; Robert E. Blount of Kansas City, Kansas; her sisters, Annie L. Blount of Kansas City, Kansas; Cecilia Blount of Kansas City, Kansas; and D. Marie Watson of Leavenworth Kansas; her grandchildren Josiah, L.T. Wilson; and Ella Mae Wilson; her nieces; and nephews; other relatives; and friends.
