Mary grew up in Kansas City, Ks where she lived her whole life. She had a happy childhood with family and friends. She graduated from Sumner High School.
She worked for Robinson’s Shoes, then later went on to work for K.U. Medical Center as a Food Service Supervisor in the Rainbow Mental Health Facility.
