Marc Lavell McIntosh, Jr.

Marc Lavell McIntosh, Jr was born September 9, 1986, in Kansas City, KS to parents Marc L McIntosh, Sr and Jina (Jackson) McIntosh. He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandparents T. C. and Hilda McIntosh, great-uncle Wilfred McIntosh, great-aunt Cordelia Murphy, and cousin Leila Curreri. On the maternal side, by great-grandmother Twinsey Bean and Grandmother Gladys A Jackson.

Marc graduated the class of 2005 from F.L. Schlagle High School, in Kansas City, KS, where his childhood love of the snare drum leads him to the band. He was awarded a music scholarship to the historic University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff band drum line affectionately known as “Krank”. Marc began his career cultivating his contracting skills at the age of 14 under the professional mentorship of family friend Michael Kelby and rose through the ranks, eventually starting his own business - McIntosh Digital.

Marc enjoyed music, technology, designing and building, perfecting his craft, training marksmen, studying his faith, representing his culture, raising his turtles, and deeply connecting with family and friends nationwide. He loved visiting, helping, and encouraging whomever, wherever, however he could.

Marc will be remembered for his cool, laid-back, blunt, and authentic personality. While short in stature, he was a giant at heart filled with life and wisdom for all he encountered. If you ever engaged in conversation with him, you always walked away feeling empowered, inspired, and motivated to reevaluate life. He was a light to all.

Marc made his transition from this life Friday, June 2, 2023, at his home. He leaves behind his father Marc L McIntosh, Sr, his mother Jina McIntosh; 3 sisters Crystal (McIntosh) Williams (Matthew), Lacy (McIntosh) Murphy, Makenzi (McIntosh) Medina (Abe); one nephew Immanuel Murphy, paternal grandmother Voynnez McIntosh, maternal grandfather Allen H Jackson, Jr and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, close friends and relatives.
