Life’s Reflection
Lula Bell Johnson, 72, passed away February 25, 2019 in her Kansas City, Kansas home. She was born August 27, 1946 in Lee County, Mississippi to the late Ike and Bonnie Triplett. Lula was a lifelong active member of her church, the Greater Pentecostal Temple.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Jack, Bob, Willie, & Sudie; and her dear husband, James Johnson.
Lula is survived by her sisters, Levell, Ruby, and Pearl; son, Bryan; daughters, Michelle and Molly; and many other close relatives and friends, especially her closest friend, Violet. She will always be remembered by those who were blessed to know her as altruistic, loving, and a mother to anyone in need. She showed the world unconditional love and embodied what it truly means to be a woman of God. She lived her life to serve others, her spirit will continue to shine in our lives as a reminder to carry on her life’s mission to help those in need, embrace life as a gift, and always give more than you receive.
