Life’s Reflection

Loleta Coleman 64 passed away March 3, 2022, at Life Care Center in Kansas City, Kansas.  She was born January 29, 1958, to Leon Coleman and Rachel Dupree Coleman in Kansas City, Kansas.  Loleta grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. Her primary general studies were at Our Lady Catholic School and Northeast.  

She worked as a nurse assistant at the Health Department of Wyandotte County in Kansas City, Kansas for many years.  Loleta was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church.  Loleta enjoyed music and dancing.  Hosting gatherings with family and friends and cooking.

Loleta was preceded in death by her father, Leon Coleman; mother, Rachel Dupree Coleman; granddaughter, Dalayah Coleman; and sister, Dorene Coleman.

Loleta leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Sharita White (William) of Bluffton, South Carolina; son, Lamont Coleman (Shana) of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Tiffany Palmer of Kansas City, Kansas; sister, Belinda Coleman of Overland Park, Kansas; six grandchildren, Layla; William IV; Anthony; A’Jay; Andrew; and David; one niece, Rosenda; and three nephews, Ahmad (Diamond); Courtney; and Kameran; a host of cousins and friends.
