Life’s Reflection
Larry James Williams Sr. was born March 16, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas. Both parents, Helen Smith and Vance Lampkin Sr. preceded him in death. Vance Lampkin Jr. his brother also preceded him in death.
On Sunday July 19, 2020 God took him upon His eagle's wings and carried him home. Larry wrestled and prevailed. He didn't give up, he just gave in. He didn't lose the battle with Covid 19, for it was God's war and victory to win.
He attended several schools in the Kansas City, Kansas area. Graduating from Wyandotte High School. He went on to marry Anna Way before joining the army. They later divorced and became the Best of Friends before she preceded him in death. Larry went on to live in Pomona California for several years with a special friend Monaque Johnson. While there he worked as an electrician for NASA. He later returned to the Kansas City area to reside. Larry was very Good with his hands. He loved fixing just about everything from televisions, cars, computers, sewing machines, and etc... Our Dad was a God-fearing man and Loved the Lord. He often did work for churches in his community in Kansas City, Missouri.
