Louis was a proud graduate of the Summer Academy of Arts and Science, class of 1989. He then went on to earn an associate degree in business administration from Johnson County Community College, where he undoubtedly charmed his professors and classmates with his wit and wisdom.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Sara Sims, who surely welcomed him with open arms.  He is survived by his Father Louis Elliott Sr Kansas City, Mother Judith Sims, Lee’s Summit, Mo, and brother, Vincent R. Louis served his country with honor as an Army soldier, working as a Medical Supply Specialist during the Desert Storm Gulf War. While his official title was serious, those who served with him remember his ability to lighten even the darkest moments with his humor and positivity.

Known for his bright and caring nature, Louis was a ray of sunshine in a sometimes cloudy world. He had an uncanny knack for making everyone around him feel special and appreciated. Louis’s favorite phrase, "Y’all alright? Do you need anything?" will echo in the hearts of those who knew him, a reminder of his endless generosity and concern for others.

We celebrate Louis's life Journey where stories and laughter will flow as freely as the tears.  As we imagine Louis in heaven, we can almost hear him cracking jokes with the angels and asking if anyone needs anything. His spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
