Life's Reflection
On December 17,1938 Kenneth O’Neil Duncan was born to the proud parents Clarence and Mabell Duncan (both deceased). He transitioned from earth to heaven on October 22, 2021.
Kenneth received his education in the area schools located in Argentine, Kansas. After graduating, he started his work career at the Sante Fe Railroad. He worked there many years doing various jobs.
Kenneth had a passion for helping other people and making them happy. After retiring from Sante Fe Railroad, he kept busy working in the area local churches’ Food Kitchen feeding the homeless. In his spare time at home, he would bake various cookies that made your mouth water. He loved his jazz and blues music and would break out in a dance and song if it was the right song. He was a quiet soul that hardly ever complained. While at the nursing home the nurses and aides called him “Pops” which brought on a big smile.
Kenneth has joined his two brother Clarence (deceased), Reggie (deceased), two sisters Carol (deceased) and Mary (deceased) and Janelle (daughter) and his parents in the peaceful reunion. Oh, what a time, what a time!!!!!
He will be lovingly remembered by Portia (wife), his two daughters Kendra Maxwell and Shawniece Gipson (Scott), his daughters in love Yvette Bankhead and Crystal Bankhead-Wallace, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.
