Joseph Fitzgerald Smith Jr. was born September 24, 1986 in Kansas City, Kansas to Joseph Fitzgerald Smith Sr. and Gina Felicia Credit. Joe grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, Kansas in 2005. He attended Kansas City Kansas Community College in Kansas City, Kansas in 2017, where he was in progress of receiving a certificate.

Joe began working for Smitty’s Heating and Cooling throughout his life until his death.

Joe married Nikita Louise Wade in 2017 in Kansas City, Kansas. They were happily married for three years. He enjoyed fishing, family and fun.

Joseph Fitzgerald Smith Jr. 33 passed away on March 2, 2020 in Kansas City, Kansas. Preceding him in death his father, Joseph Fitzgerald Smith Sr.; grandfather, Jimmy Wayne Smith; grandfather, Troy Lee Credit Sr.; cousins, Cody Smith and Tierra Smith.

Joe leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Nikita Smith of Kansas City, Kansas; children, Marcus; Jamera; Jayliah all of the Kansas City, Kansas; mother, Gina Evans; stepfather, Chris Evans; one sister, Schiantel Britti; grandmothers, paternal Paulette Smith and maternal Dorothy Credit; god-parents, Delbert and Winnie Ayers; god-sister, Robin Ayers; nephew, Marcus and niece, Neryah; mother-in-law, Jennett Maddox; a host of other relatives and friends.
