Johnnie W. Williams, Jr
Johnnie W. Williams, Jr., 60 years of age, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Johnnie was born on September 8, 1963, in
Kansas City, Kansas to the late Johnnie W. Williams Sr. and Lois V. Williams. He was the youngest of five children. One brother, Johnnie Manuel Williams Jr. preceded him in death. Johnnie resided in Mission, Kansas but was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas School District.
Throughout his life, Johnnie maintained employment in several fields such as logistics, janitorial, and automotive sales. His hobbies and interests included his dogs, cars, and
music. Though his life was never perfect, he was perfect in his own way and touched the lives of many.
He was known as Jr., Johnnie, and Daddy. He is survived by his daughter Shania Carter Williams and her mother, Kristina Carter, and held a significant role in the lives of Shania’s sisters, Airionna Patrick, Keyonna Carter, and Ayla Carter.
He shared an important role in the upbringing of Thomas Vincent, Alicia Ivey, Rayneka Black, and Raymond Edgar. This bond was built during his previous relationship with their mother Carolyn Edgar Black.
He is also survived by his four siblings, Dwight D.Porter, Delores Williams, Denice Eason,
and Aaron Manuel Williams: his niece and nephew, Brittney Eason and Ronnie Eason Jr., great nephew, Shai Ross, and two great nieces, Brooklynn Ross, and Szirah
Wallace Eason. He held close in heart many grand and great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
