Jauryce Delores "Weise" (Tramble) Davis-Williams, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, peacefully transitioned on November 29. 2024. Weise was born on November 10, 1962, in Kansas City, Kansas, to John L. Tramble, Sr. and Ima Jean Everett.
Weise was preceded in death by both parents, grandparents, brother, Wilburn Tramble, and a beloved nephew, Antjuan Shaw.
Weise was educated in the public school system and graduated from JC Harmon High School with the class of 1981. She continued her education at the University of Kansas. She cherished her family deeply and found joy in simple pleasures – listening to music, dancing, walking her beloved dog Nina, and spending quality time with loved ones. Weise was affectionately known for having a big personality which matched the big heart she had for humanity. She would unapologetically engage others (including strangers) in warm and casual conversations generating laughter, smiles, and feelings of belonging. Weise was the life of the party and could emulate most dance moves from the 70s and 80s.
Weise was married to Donald Davis and to this union Brandon Davis was born. This marriage was later dissolved. In April 2002, Weise married her best friend and the love of her life, Charles Williams. This marriage was the epitome of a profound everlasting bond between two people based on love, commitment, and compromise.
Weise's professional career spanned across various industries, including retail, healthcare, and telecommunications. She dedicated a significant portion of her life to public service, retiring from the U.S. Postal Service in 2018 after a dedicated 30-year career.
Weise was a woman of faith who sought out prayer and spiritual guidance from Pastor Ricky D. Turner at Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church.
Weise leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted husband of 22 years, Charles Williams; one son, Brandon Davis of Seattle, WA; one bonus daughter, Chasiti Williams of Topeka, KS; her sisters: Carmen Handson (Talford) of Kansas City, KS, and Janet Spratt of Independence, MO; her brothers: John Tramble, Jr. (Cynthia) of Gardner, KS, and Rodney Tramble (Sylana) of San Antonio, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She also had several very special childhood friends: Carolyn Harris, Jill Hall, and Katrina Osborne.
Weise will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kind spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love will forever remain in our hearts.
