JANET MARIE GREER

Janet Marie Greer, Greer was born October 7, 1950, in Kansas City, Kansas along with her twin brother, James Marion, to James and Mary Greer. She was united in marriage to Charles Edward Greer, on January 1st, 1972. To this union two children were born, Adrienne Lynn and Jason Charles.

She attended Grant Elementary, and Northeast Junior High, graduated from Wyandotte High School, and received an associate’s degree in Travel and Tourism from Maple Woods Community College.

Janet was a retired airline employee of 30 years, which allowed her and her family to travel the world. She loved life and lived it to the fullest until her quality of life began to be compromised due to her decline in health. Janet gave her life to Christ and was baptized at Mount Zion Baptist Church, where she also served on the Usher Board. 

She leaves to mourn her passing: Two children, Adrienne L. Murphy, and Jason Charles Greer: Two sisters, Bonnie J. Price, Kansas City, KS and Karolynn M. Tilford, Kansas City, MO.; Four Grandchildren, Matthew David Williams, Morgan Haley Turner, Alexandra Dobbins, and Jaylen Greer; including a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
