Life’s Reflection

Harry A. Howard, age 87, passed away on September 1, 2022, at his home.  He was the fourth of six children born to his parents, Harry, and Oletha Howard.  He was born July 23, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri where he grew up.  He later moved to Kansas City, Missouri to finish High School at Western Baptist Seminary in 1955.

He married Jessie Fristoe Howard in 1954.  Six children were born to this union.  The marriage was later dissolved.  He later attended Western Bible College where he received his BS degree.  He was employed, and  store manager for many Grocery Chain Stores before retiring.

Harry was a member of The Western Bible Alumni for many years.  He was an avid bowler, hunting and love fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; two sisters; and a grandson.

Harry leaves to cherish his memory and mourn his homegoing one daughter, Theresa Harstad (Joe); five sons, Harry Jr. (Darlene); Gregory; Richard; Jesse (Kathryn); and Marc (Leslie); twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Inez Robinson of St. Louis, Missouri; a longtime friend, Robert Taylor; A special companion, Melbra Lewis; her daughter, Shaliece; and twin granddaughters, Kadya; and Kaliyah who he helped raise; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him.
