Glorine Miller 83, Passed away on, August 24, 2023, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She was born on March 24, 1940, in Valdosta GA, To Curtis Jones and Rachel Seward Jones.
Glorine grew up in Valdosta GA. She graduated from Mount Zion High School in Valdosta GA. She began to work for Kansas City Kansas School District as a server at West Jr School for 6 years. She went to work for a Daycare in Kansas City, KS 2 years before going to work in Home Health Care before she became ill.
She attended Salem Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mission Ministry Board. She attended there for over 50 years until she became ill. Glorine married the love of her life Mr. William Miller Jr. on September 17, 1960, and was happily married for 48 years until he passed on February 24, 2008. Glorine enjoyed cooking, for her family, being around her grandchildren, working in her yard, and going to church.
Glorine was preceded in death by both parents Curtis Jones and Rachel Seward Jones, three brothers, one sister, aunts, and uncles.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her children Sylvester (Cynthia) Miller, Deborah Miller, Johnny (Regina) Miller, and William Charles Miller. Her siblings; Annie Kirkland, Rosa Jones, Mary Frances (Johnny Lee) Roe, Willie (Bernice ) Jones, and two Sister-in-laws Eatha Williams and Vernell Copeland, 18 Grandchildren, 37 Great- grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
