Gisele Jaylen Atkins, was born on June 25, 1959 to Rev. George D. Atkins, Sr. and Nealie Bell Young Atkins in Kansas City, Kansas---they have preceded her in eternity. Also in her heavenly home are brothers; George D.Atkins Sr., Gregory D. Atkins Sr., and Gerald D. Atkins Sr., sisters; Lynda Harris and Gabrella Omega Atkins.
Gisele accepted Christ at an early age at New Light Baptist Church in Bonner Springs, KS, under the guidance of her father Rev. George D. Atkins, Sr. She was very active in the choir and enjoyed fellow shipping with various churches in the Kansas City area.
Gisele attended the Kansas City, Kansas School District #500 by attending, JC Harmon High School, Donnelly College and Kansas City Kansas Community College. She was a Candy Striper which evolved her interest into the medical field. She had a special love for Plants, Trees and flowers. She also loved birds especially canaries and maintained aquariums filled with various species of fish.
Gisele lived a blessed life and now she is resting with the lord. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Aurina Michelle Atkins (Ferndale, WA), siblings, Gwen Ridgnal, Geri D. Atkins, and Greta D. Scroggins (Tony), and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins; other family members and friends.
