Life Reflections
Gertrude Davis was born on April 27, 1942 in Reydell, Arkansas to William Parker and Suller Ford Parker. She grew up in Reydell, Arkansas and attend school there. She married William Davis in 1960 and they were happily for married for twenty-three years.
Gertrude work at Meicalodge Acute Nursing Home as a cook, where she retired after over thirty years of loyal service. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, interior decorating and shopping.
Gertrude, 76 passed away on August 27, 2018 at her home Pinnacle Ridge in Olathe, Kansas.
Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Myra Williams.
She is survived by her children, Bill Parker, Sandra Bolton (Glenn), Gary Davis, Earl Davis and Renitna Griffin (John) all of Kansas City, Kansas; Jeff Davis (Maylon) of Wentzville, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Parker (Linda) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; two sisters, Willie Mae Griffin and Lorene Abram, both of Kansas City, Missouri.
