Garry Gene McCubbin

Garry’s Life Reflection

Garry Gene McCubbin was born on June 5, 1950 in Buchanan, St Joseph, Missouri to Roy and Emma (Kendall) McCubbin.  Garry grew up in St. Joseph Missouri.  After High School he joined the US Army in 1969 and served for three years.  He served in Vietnam and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Expert M16.  He was discharged in 1972, achieving the rank of SP5 E-5. After he was discharged bebegan to work for General Motors as a Auto Worker, where he worked for 32 years. He retired in 2006 after 32.2 years of loyal service.

Garry married  Louise Talley in Kansas City.  They were happily married for 40 plus years. 

Garry was preceded in deaeth by his parents, Roy and Emma; and his wife, Louise.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Renee McCubbin of Kansas City; his brothers, Larry (Donna) McCubbin of Kansas City, Kansas; Frankie Jackson of Mexico City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Daisa; and Jalina; and nephew Josh McCubbins.
