Obituary

Freddie Lee Goston, brother to 21 other siblings, was born on July 6, 1942 in Galion, Louisiana. He was one of 21 children born to the late Mae Frances Doakes and Joe Goston Sr.

The Goston family moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, where Fred remained until relocating to Kansas City, Kansas where he lived for over 40 years.

Early in life, Fred married Vivian Olivia Brooker. To this union, Sandra Olivia and Fred Lee Goston Jr. were born. In June of 2001 he married Gerry Lynne Davis of Kansas City, formerly of Arkansas.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents and all but four siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Gerry Lynne Davis Goston; his daughter Sandra Hunter (Phillip); his son Fred Goston Jr. (Coby); 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosa Ford, and Shelia Bobo (Bobbie) and two brothers; Percy Doakes and Napoleon Ford.
