Emma G. Searcy

Emma G. Searcy passed away on June 26, 2023 . she was born on Nov. 26, 1922 in Kansas City, Ks to Ronell and Virginia Lewis Buckner. Emma grew up in Kansas City, Ks .                   

She attended  Sumner High School in 1939. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of Strangers Rest Baptist Church.

Emma married Roscoe D. Wooten in 1939 in Kansas City, Ks. They were happily married for 45 years. Emma enjoyed family and friends.

Emma was preceded in death by her mother and father, 2 sons Roscoe and Ronald Wooten,  husband- Roscoe Wooten Sr.

Emma is survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Gwinnetta Downton, Gloria Shivers, Joyce Banks, Deliece Sampson (Willie Sampson).
