Earl Dennis was born August 29, 1930, in Lafayette, Louisiana to Peter Dennis Sr. and Caroline Dugas. Earl grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana. He graduated from Paul Breaux High School in Lafayette, Louisiana. After high school he attend Trade School in Lafayette where he received a certificate in Masonry. In 1951, Earl joined the United States Army where he served for four years, during the Korean War. Earl was discharged in 1954. Earl was self-employed as a Brick Mason where he worked for 40 plus years. He retired in 2018. Earl was involved in the Masons.
Earl Married Mary Labbe, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Earl was a member of Blessed Sacrament. He enjoyed golf, dominoes and .25 cent poker, he also received many accomplishments, including a Purple Heart.
Earl was preceded in death by his father, Peter; mother, Caroline; brother, Robert; nephews, Dwayne; and Brian; grandfather, Joshua Dugas.
Earl is survived by his spouse; son, Earl Dennis Jr.; daughter, Kimberley Betts of Georgia; his siblings, Joseph Dennis (Mildred); Peter Dennis Jr. (Savannah); Charles Dennis (Mary Ann) of Lafayette, Louisiana; Betty Dennis Smith of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren, Brandon; Breyon; Braxton; and Brian; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
