Diamond Domineke Steen, 23, passed away on September 19, 2023. He was born on February 18, 2000, in Kansas City, Kansas to Damon Steen and Dawnya Grice. Diamond grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. He attended elementary and middle school in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Raytown High School in Raytown, Missouri in 2018. He worked for Smithfield as an order selector. He enjoyed playing football, basketball and he loved dogs. His favorite hobby was working on cars.
Diamond had a free spirit and was kindhearted. His favorite color was red.
Diamond was preceded in death by His grandparents, Charlie Steen, Dorothy Grice, Jeffery Helm.
Diamond is survived by his two sons, Diamond Steen Jr, Di'mir Steen, unborn daughter of Kansas City, KS; his father, Damon Steen Sr., of Kansas City, KS. his mother Dawnya Grice of Moline, IL.; his grandmother Glinda Steen of Kansas City, KS; His brothers, Damon Steen Jr., of Kansas City, KS, DeJuan Steen of Shawnee Mission, KS, Delanio Steen of Leawood KS. Darien Steen, Dewayne Steen, Dacari Steen of Kansas City, MO and Deyahn Grice of Moline, IL; his sisters Daymia Steen of N. Kansas City, MO.,Damiyah Steen of Kansas City, MO. Tierra Gordon of Moline, IL. his two aunts, Brandi Steen of Kanas City, KS., Sonya Helm of Cedar Rapid, IA. nieces and nephews, a host of relatives and friends.
